The Pennsylvania Health Literacy Coalition announced its webinar series for 2020. The series is designed to provide insights into emerging issues relevant to current health communication needs. The series includes the program listed below:
The State of Numeracy and Decision Making, will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on June 24, 2020. Ellen Peter, Ph.D., will discuss the state of numeracy and making numeric information accessible and actionable. She is the Philip H. Knight chair and director of the Center for Science Communication Research in the School of Journalism and Communications at the University of Oregon.
The Pennsylvania Health Literacy Coalition supports Healthcare Council’s health literacy program, which is provided by Hillary Holes, Healthcare Council’s director of Health Equity.
