Healthcare Council, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Health Literacy Coalition, will host a regional health literacy program at Carlow University from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on October 25, 2019. The event is being held in October in recognition of Health Literacy Month.
Participants will learn about several topics including: the basics of health literacy; unconscious bias; and cultural humility. Participants will also learn how to apply health literacy techniques to their personal and professional lives.
There is no cost to attend the program, however registration is required.
