Healthcare Council is partnering with Chessboard Consulting and Lockton to offer a two-part series of programs focused on the potential impact of the 2020 elections on labor and employee benefits.
Healthcare Labor Update for Fall 2020: An Update on Recent Healthcare Union Organizing Activities will be the topic of the first part of the series, which will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Chris Cimino, the president and chief executive officer of Chessboard Consulting, will provide information on the trends in healthcare union organizing, the latest tactics by labor unions, and potential impact of the elections on labor-related activity.
Employee Benefits and the 2020 Election will be the topic of the second part of the series, which will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Scott Behrens, JD, vice president and director of Government Relations for Lockton, will discuss how political leaders are thinking and talking in ways that could drastically change the way health insurance operates to the way health insurance policies are written and interpreted.
