Hillary Holes, Healthcare Council’s director of Health Equity, was named one of the “30 Under 30” by the Pittsburgh Business Times. The awards are presented by the Pittsburgh Business Times in partnership with Leadership Pittsburgh Inc.
Winners are selected for their successful efforts to grow a business or nonprofit and for their contributions to the community and civic organizations.
Her nomination noted the growth in Healthcare Council’s community work in Health Equity since she started with the organization in 2017. At that time, she was hired under a grant from the Pennsylvania Health Literacy Coalition to provide education and training to the region’s hospitals on health literacy.
While she continues to provide health literacy training and education, she also works with members and community organizations on several health equity initiatives.
