The 9th annual CEO Assistants Forum was held on June 7 with 25 assistants attending. Diane Frndak, PhD, MBA, Assistant Professor for the Department of Health Sciences at Robert Morris University was the keynote speaker. Her presentation focused on leading from strengths versus focusing on weaknesses. Participants learned about positivity, the positivity ratio, values in action and a strengths-based approach. Through an interactive exercise, participants learned about their individual strengths and how to lead via these strengths.
A. J. Harper, president, provided an update on healthcare and Healthcare Council.
A roundtable discussion was held during lunch. Topics included dealing with difficult people, handling executive’s schedules, and board packet software.
