Healthcare Council will be recognized as a partner in the Regional Response Health Collaborative Program (RRHCP) of western Pennsylvania by UPMC Senior Services on October 14, 2021, at the 13th Annual Celebrating Senior Champions Dinner and Auction.
Partners in the RRHCP will be presented with the UPMC Senior Services Community Champion Award, given annually to recognize exceptional organizational leadership to improve the lives of seniors. Three partners of the program will accept the award on behalf of the group: Emily Jaffe, M.D., vice president and executive medical director of Home and Community Services for Allegheny Health Network; and Nancy Zionts, chief operating officer for the Jewish Healthcare Foundation. UPMC Community Provider Services will also be recognized as a partner.
Jane Montgomery, chief operating officer of Healthcare Council, the point person for Healthcare Council to the RRHCP, will be featured in a video presentation.
Under the leadership of the partners, as well as several sub-contracted partners, the program steered and provided guidance to keep seniors safe during unprecedented times. Sub-contracted partners throughout the region include Excela Health, Penn Highlands Healthcare, and St. Clair Health. Three COVID Alternate Care Sites were established by HCR Manor Care, Vincentian, and UPMC Senior Services.
The RRHCP was launched in Pennsylvania in 2020 to support the state’s long-term care system by offering COVID-19 readiness and response services. For more information about RRHCP contact Jane Montgomery at jane.montgomery@hcwp.org.
