Rosemarie Welsh – Vice President of Learning Strategy, Innovation, and Analytics
In her role as vice president of learning strategy, innovation, and analytics at the Healthcare Council of Western Pennsylvania (HCWP), Ms. Welsh manages training, education, and ongoing learning opportunities for the HCWP members. She brings a wide range of tactical direction to council and members regarding workforce development, equity initiatives and data analysis regarding hospital and healthcare performance. She provides leadership on the overall approach to strategy, as well as evaluation and advancement to resolve topics of discrepancies facing member organizations.
Previously, Ms. Welsh served at FedEx Ground University, MedExpress, UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital, and Pittsburgh Mercy Health System. In these roles, Ms. Welsh succeeded in implementing new and improved educational systems. Key achievements include, but are not limited to, creating employee orientation and onboard training, virtual reality training, and new talent management programs.
Ms. Welsh received her Bachelor of Science degree from Robert Morris University, as well as a Certificate in Training and Development from LaRoche University. Ms. Welsh is passionate about women in leadership and improving educational engagement to advance performance capabilities.
