The 2020 Election and the impact on health policy will be the focus of Healthcare Council’s Fall Conference. The virtual event will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 beginning at 9 a.m. This year’s event will feature keynote speaker G. Terry Madonna, Ph.D., who will discuss The 2020 Elections: The Politics of a Divided Nation.
He is the director of the Center for Politics and Public Affairs and professor of Public Affairs at Franklin & Marshall College and serves as director of the Franklin & Marshall College Poll.
The event opens with a presentation, State and Federal Legislative & Policy Update: Uncertainty, Disruption & What Else to Expect, by Victoria Hamscho and Tracy L. Lawless, both from the law firm K&L Gates. Victoria Hamscho is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and Tracy L. Lawless is a government affairs adviser in the firm’s Pittsburgh and Harrisburg offices.
Healthcare Council President A.J. Harper will serve as the Conference moderator and provide a President’s Report.
