National trends in healthcare labor and also trends in collective bargaining are two of the topics featured at Healthcare Council’s Annual Labor and Employment Update program. The program, which will be held on May 3, 2019, will also feature a comprehensive update on legal and regulatory issues related to labor and employment.

Chris Cimino, president and chief executive officer of Chessboard Consulting, based in Chicago, will open the program with a comprehensive overview of national trends in healthcare labor. Terrence Murphy, a shareholder with the firm Littler, will provide an overview of key employment cases. He will also provide an overview of activity related to the National Labor Relations Board as well as on other regulatory agencies. Elliot Dinkin, president and chief executive officer of Cowden Associates, will provide insights into total compensation, and in addition, he will discuss collective bargaining.
