The Pennsylvania Department of Health named the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Allegheny Health Network, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, and Healthcare Council as the state’s partners in the Regional Response Health Collaboration Program (RRHCP) serving the Southwest Region and part of the Northwest Region. Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) is serving the other portion of the Northwest Region.
The program is designed to be consultative and provide assistance to long-term residential care facility staff or residents to mitigate the risk of the spread of COVID-19. The RRHCP provides consultation on infection prevention strategies, use of personal protective equipment and acquisition, and point prevalence COVID-19 testing of staff and residents.
The RRHC began in mid-July and continues through November 30, 2020.
