Healthcare Council will hold a member briefing focused on inclusion and diversity on April 3, 2019, at the Jack C. Robinette Conference Center. The briefing features keynote speaker James E. Taylor, Ph.D., chief diversity and inclusion, and chief talent management officer for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).

Dr. Taylor will share the work UPMC is doing in the areas of diversity and inclusion and he will share information through an informal “fireside chat” with participants. In his role, Dr. Taylor executes next generation strategies that advance the diversity management capability of the organization. Dr. Taylor, as chief talent management officer, provides oversight to the design and execution of an integrated roadmap that provides UPMC with technologically advanced employee learning, organizational development, succession planning, and consultative services aligned to the institution’s long-term priorities.

Prior to the briefing, Dr. Taylor will meet with Healthcare Council’s HR Committee. The briefing is open to Healthcare Council members and is free of charge, however registration is required. Please note that all questions for the briefing must be submitted in advance with registration. For more information contact Pat Raffaele at patricia.raffaele@hcwp.org.
