The Human Resources Leadership committee provides a forum for the exchange of information and addressing current human resource issues. In addition, Healthcare Council hosts quarterly meetings for HR executives from long-term care and senior living facilities.
The Committee's Continued Focus:
The Committee determines scope and intent of Healthcare Council’s HR tools, including the Compensation and Benefits Surveys. The Committee partnered with the Physician Practice Manager’s Committee to create the Physician Practice survey. The Committee continually reviews and updates Healthcare Council’s HR Surveys and adds or significantly changes surveys based on member needs. In 2016, the salary surveys were updated and positions were added to reflect Healthcare Council’s long-term care membership. In addition, the Committee plans an annual Labor Update Conference and receives an HR Newsletter focused on changing rules and regulations related to HR. Educational topics have included labor updates, workforce development and laws and regulations. Other topics of discussion have included the use of social media and the role of Human Resources, wellness programs, and Just Culture.
